This site exists to display the capabilities of various templates; in particular all of the various positions for content. There won't be many articles; and there will be a lot of duplicated menu items which only exist to fill space. A few of the positions will be filled with special content. (E.g., The breadcrumbs module will be put in the breadcrumbs position.) and sometimes a module will be set to not display its title if that looks better in its position. Each menu module will have at least one item with sub-items; but unless otherwise noted; no parameters are changed to affect visibility.
The Login module appears only to allow developers access to templates not yet ready for public exposure.
The templates whose names start 'pv_' are either locally written or local modifications of other open source templates. In general, they will be designed for use in an environment where the site owner may not have write access to Joomla! directory tree other than that provided by Joomla! itself. And where part of the goal is to keep the template files themselves unmodified to make updating to new releases easier.
